What happens in the first call with Fulcrum?

Thirty minutes. No pitch, no proposal required in advance, no intake form. One direct conversation about your business to see whether there is something worth exploring together.

Most founders wait longer than they should before reaching out, mainly because they do not know what they are walking into. Here is exactly what happens.

The format

Thirty minutes. One conversation. No proposal required before the call, no intake form, no pitch deck from us. You show up, we talk about your business, and we both figure out whether there is something worth exploring.

That is genuinely all it is.

What the conversation covers

The call is structured around one question: where is the friction highest in your business right now, and what is it actually costing you?

We will ask about your current situation — what the business looks like, where it is stuck, what you have already tried. We are not looking for the polished version. The more honest you can be about what is actually hard, the more useful the conversation is.

On our end, we will tell you honestly whether what you are describing sounds like something Fulcrum works on. If it is, we will tell you what an engagement would look like and what it costs. If it is not — because the timing is off, the constraint is not what we solve, or the budget does not match what the right engagement would require — we will tell you that too.

What you walk away with

One of three things happens at the end of the call.

1. It is a fit.

You have a clear picture of what working with Fulcrum would look like, what it costs, and what the first 90 days involve. You decide whether to move forward.

2. It is not a fit right now.

You understand why, and you have a clearer picture of what your actual constraint is. That is useful regardless of what you decide to do with it.

3. You need the Diagnostic first.

Sometimes the right next step is not jumping into an engagement but getting a structured, written read on where the business actually stands. If that is the case, we will say so.

What you do not have to do

You do not have to have everything figured out before the call. You do not have to know exactly what you need. You do not have to justify why you are reaching out or convince us you are ready.

Show up with an honest description of what is not working, and the conversation takes care of itself.

To start: use the contact form on this site or reach out directly. We respond with two or three available times, no intake form before the call.
