What does a typical Lab engagement look like?

Most builds run 8 to 16 weeks depending on complexity. Discovery and architecture happen in the first two to three weeks. The build phase is the bulk of the engagement. We deliver in working increments so you're not waiting 16 weeks to see anything. Pricing depends on scope; we give you a fixed quote after discovery.

Every Lab engagement begins with a Discovery phase that is included in the build fee. Discovery is not billed separately; it covers the first 4–6 weeks of the engagement. During this phase, the team establishes the architecture, scopes every major component, defines the integration plan, and produces a fixed-fee proposal for the build. You do not commit to the build until you have reviewed the full scope and price.

The build phase then proceeds in working increments, providing visible progress throughout the engagement rather than a single delivery at the end. Most builds produce a first working version within the first four weeks, which is then refined based on your feedback.

At close, the system is delivered, your team is trained, and documentation is handed over. The engagement then transitions into whatever support arrangement fits best—ongoing optimization, periodic maintenance check-ins, or no further support if your team is fully self-sufficient.
